- "The painter Marcel Quintin had a rich and varied artistic career. After studying at the Beaux-Arts in Brest between 1955 and 1957, Marcel Quintin quickly held his first solo exhibitions in 1967 at the Saluden gallery in Quimper and then in 1970 in Brest. He also exhibited numerous times in Bénodet, notably in his gallery located on Avenue de l'Odet and at the Musée du Bord de mer. Marcel Quintin was one of the founding members of the Beg-Meil group of "nine Breton painters" in the late 1970s.""Painter of the sea, dance and Breton traditions"
