Object description :

"Pair Of Shoes, 18th Century Ladies' Shoes, Louis XV Period, Circa 1750, Leather And Silk."
How can we not imagine the young woman who wore these shoes, about 270 years ago?... and the person who created them, with care, patience and mastery?...
Certainly, they have lived..., the back is creased and has suffered, as if they had been worn like mules, when the heels and soles are in very good condition...
Mounted on 7.5 cm high "bobbin" heels, they are made of extremely fine leather covered with ivory brocaded silk and embroidered with flowering branches..
Leather interiors, heels and soles in original brown leather, sewn with tiny saddle stitches... what patience and what know-how!... High uppers, with internal flaps and pointed panels crossed in the buckles, without eyelets.
The length corresponds to a small size, a small "35", and their weight, for the pair is a challenge to lightness!
One can only rejoice and remain admiring, when objects as familiar and fragile cross the centuries to reach us!...
Total length = 22.5 cm; Width = 7 - 7.5 cm
Weight = 249 grams for the pair!...
Extremely careful shipping possible, in addition, to be defined according to destination.
