Animated gouache of people walking along the river, near a bridge. The whole is in very good condition, very colorful, with a dominant blue, as is often the case for gouaches from the end of the 18th century, with many people spread out in the landscape. The tondo-shaped gouache is framed in gilded wood, signed LM and dated 1784 for Louis Gabriel Moreau (1740-1806), who was a French draftsman, etcher and painter. Very decorative.
