Humorous system plate "The flower basket" for magic lantern. It is composed of a white wooden frame 10 x 25 cm containing two hand-painted glass plates of diameter 7.5 cm. On the first plate, a young woman holds a basket of flowers. On the second plate, a small elf comes out of the basket. In 1866 Ernst PLANK founded the “Fabrik Optischer und Mechanischer Waren”. He was one of the first manufacturers of miniature steam engines, which he marketed as small individual machines or inside locomotives or ships. He even became the second largest manufacturer of magic lanterns in Nuremberg after BING. These lanterns are generally identifiable by the letters “EP”.
