Beautiful oil on panel measuring 38cm x 46cm plus period frame 60cm x 68cm signed lower left R.ALLEGRE Raymond ALLEGRE born in Marseille in 1857 died in 1933 Student of Vollon, Bonnat and Jean-Paul Laurens. He exhibited at the Salon des artistes Français from 1881 to 1932. He received several awards there. Good condition In 1900, he participated in the decoration of the buffet at the Gare de Lyon alongside Jean Baptiste Olive His works are kept in various museums and in major international collections
