Created in 1735, thepottery of Niderviller owes its fame to its statuettes.Under the direction of J-LBeyerlé, it is oriented towards this type of products. These are truemasterpieces, largely inspired by sculpture, which then come out of thefactories of Niderviller.The success is such thatthey receive many awards, as well as various prizes. They even end up appearingin a “Book of forms” at the beginning of the 19th century.Although the porcelain ofNiderviller did not have the expected success, its earthenware, on the otherhand, has passed through the ages.
