Kim Moltzer 1970 Bookcase - Desk And Coffee Table.
Artist: Kim Moltzer
Very rare set of a bookcase forming a desk and a coffee table by Designer Kim MOLTZER, 1970s. Here we find the geometric shapes, dear to this designer, the shelves are in clear and black glass. The base is in black lacquered wood and opens with two doors, revealing storage inside in light wood. The coffee table recalls the shapes of the bookcase, it is also in gilded brass and smoked glass and mirrors. The set is in very good condition, the gilding is not worn, some wear of time and small scratches. Born in Berlin, Kim Moltzer (1938-2015) was raised in Argentina before studying in Europe. In 1966, he founded ECFI, a design office for the design of professional spaces and apartments with the architect Jean-Paul Barray. A versatile artist, he created furniture for many French personalities such as the Rothchilds and the Pompidou couple. Delivery possible, please contact us.
