Charming Small Lamp with Orange Opalescent Glass Tulip by Charles Schneider
This beautiful small lamp features a delicate tulip-shaped shade in orange opalescent blown glass, with pulled tips shaped while hot.
The support is an exquisite spelter sculpture representing a dragonfly in the act of taking flight.
The base is made of black marble with white veining.
A fine and classic example of animal-themed Art Nouveau design.
Signature: "Schneider" on the tulip; "France" at the base of the spelter.
Condition: Small chips at the base of the tulip due to the metal fitting; otherwise in very good condition.
