A student of Guglielmo Ciardi, Bonivento he had his own paht that led him to a fresh and fast painting, spreading color pastes and colours on the canvas without the use of glazes, with absolute mastery of tonal values.
His pictorial production led him to paint some works with an eighteenth-century flavour, with Venetian views intended for the international market, especially English, which he signed E.Zeno.
This is the case of our pai of paintings, whe he portrays à Venice as seen by the eye of the tourist, who greatly appreciated this kind of painting that is easier to understand.
