"Empire Style Tripod Stand From Egypt"
Tripod stool in the Empire style, known as the "Return from Egypt". The top is decorated with marquetry, surrounded by a wide openwork bronze gallery. It rests on three sheathed legs, decorated with caryatids in the belt, ending in gilded bronze claws. A crotch shelf connects the whole.
