Lovely pair of chairs in gilded, molded and carved wood, the backs with ogee, openwork forming a central medallion, decorated with olive branches, lambrequins, sunflower flowers, shell, acanthus leaves, etc., standing on four fluted sheath legs (wear and reinforcements under the belts).
Italy, most likely Venice, late 18th or beginning of 19th century.
Good condition.
Upholstery in petit point tapestry decorated with a bouquet of flowers in a basket for one, fruits in a basket for the other (wear)
