Restorations and wear to the frames
Vincenzo Caprile (1856-1936) is a painter from Naples: after studying at the Academy of Fine Arts in Naples, and under the influence of the Resina school (community of Italian painters which was formed from the 1860s in the region of Herculaneum, and advocating a painting in truth, of the moment) he painted many landscapes, genre scenes and portraits of common people.
He will know a certain success during his lifetime thanks to his views of Venice or Naples
Today some of his works are presented in museums in Milan, Bari, Florence...
