Sculpture in lard stone* or steatite representing a beautiful bouquet of flowers on a plant support, from China, from the late 19th-early 20th centuries. This sculpture is in good condition, very decorative. The base and the bouquet are screwed together (later). Please note: some dirt, wear of time, see photos. * Lard stone is a steatite (aluminous silicate, hydrate of iron and magnesia) imitating jade, pale white-green in color and with gray and orange marbling. Quite soft, it was used in the Far East for the making of small objects, statuettes, Fô dogs, pagodas, magots, sculpted and polished seals. It was widely imported into Europe in the 18th century.
