"Small Ivory Missals, 19th Century"
Galalith, melamine, bakelite, ivory, it's hard to believe... There are eight of them, so magnificent that if you open their clasp and half-open the pages, you can hear the murmurs of the devout supplications and prayers that these little works have contained for so long. They have been witnesses, and still are, to the confidences of believers. Their covers are decorated with delicate relief motifs, which I will spare you the enumeration of. Imprimatur from 1848 to 1900, they are mostly from the last years of the 19th century. Dalpayrat and Deppeley of Limoges are the papal publishers, as are Zech et Fils or Butzon et Berecker, Brepols et Dierckx, 9 cm x 12.5 cm x 2.5 cm for the largest and 8.5x6x2 cm for the smallest.
