Interesting Empire engraving, titled at the bottom: "His Majesty the Emperor and King shows the Empress-Queen the articles of the civil code that he has just completed". Period print engraved by FA David, after a drawing by Charles Monnet (1732-1808). Engraving in excellent condition, wear and chips to the gilding of the frame.
