Bronze proof with a nuanced brown patina representing a nude woman wearing a cape. Antique edition cast signed G. Obiols from the late 19th century. Gustavo Obiols graduated from the Barcelona School of Fine Arts and trained in France, attending the workshops of Albert-Ernest Carrier-Belleuse and Eugène Delaplanche. He was awarded a bronze medal at the 1900 Universal Exhibition. Gustave Obiols' sculptures were produced by the Eugène Blot Foundry and the Société des Bronzes de Paris.
