Dimensions 41cmx60cm. 19th century. Unframed. Ludovic Alfred de Sint Edme is a French artist born in 1820 and died in 1903. Draughtsman, illustrator and portraitist, he began at the salon in 1848 and appeared there until 1872. He traveled to Mexico, Louisiana, Martinique then Arabia, Egypt, Turkey and India. These travels correspond to his orientalist period.
