Oval wooden frame Period writings on the back "Louis de Bourbon by name, Prince of Condé born May 7, 1530, killed at the Battle of Jarnac March 13, 1569 by a Montesquiou, captain of the guards of the Duke of Anjou who commanded the army of the king against that of the Huguenots".
