Very beautiful pair of Louis XV style armchairs with flat backs and arched in the upper part called "à la reine". Period late 19th century. Frame in molded beech and carved with bouquets of flowers and foliage. Armrest consoles in whiplash supporting armrests with upholstered cuffs. Waved and scalloped belts. The quality of execution suggests that this is a Parisian work. Beautiful old damask velvet upholstery. Beautiful patina and very good condition without restorations.
