"Stirrup Iron, Late 18th - Early 19th Century"
Stirrup iron, late 18th - early 19th century. Rare wrought iron iron mounted by rivets and screws. It has its ingot. Its wooden handle is original. The door has a button and a spring blade to facilitate opening. This object from a private collection was exhibited for many years at the Bruyères museum (Vosges) in an uncontrolled humid atmosphere, which explains the traces of superficial oxidation. See the photos which are explicit as to the quality of the object. Do not hesitate to call or ask for more photos if necessary.
