“wisteria” Lamp By Hans Kögl / Mainson Jansen, 1960s-1970s

Large gilt and lacquered metal table lamp with a spray of silver-plated and lacquered wisteria flowers, by Hans Kögl. Probably made by Maison Jansen in the 1960s and 1970s.

The lamp is in very good condition and the wiring has been overhauled.

Kögl often drew inspiration from natural forms such as wheat sheaves, Florentine flowers, and wisteria to design sculptural lighting fixtures, tables, and various decorative objects.
