"Coat Rack Or Cloakroom In Solid Oak "
Solid oak coat rack dating from the second half of the 19th century. It also serves as an umbrella stand with 2 zinc trays in the lower part. In the central part there is a beveled mirror and a small chest bench for sitting and storing shoes. It is in good general condition. We find the Louis XV style in the presentation of this coat rack. All the hooks and supports are original and in gilded brass. Finally this coat rack is stamped on the back of a Parisian cabinetmaker of the time E. Bardin 24 avenue Daumesnil in Paris.
