Thecomplementary black and white figures complement each other to form an axiallysymmetrical figuration. They seem to diverge from the overlapping arms andlegs. The resulting black and white tension is further dynamized by theinterlocking scythe blades, while the grain growing up around the farm workershas the effect of an expressionistic energetic discharge.
