Elegant and rare 19th century painted sheet metal wall lantern. The curved front of the sheet metal is openwork at the top and bottom. The top, shaped like an acanthus leaf hat, is decorated with painted foliage. It opens at the back to accommodate the candle. Quality work in good condition, an original decorative object.
