Refined Sorrento cigar box made of inlaid wood, dating from the late 19th to early 20th century, crafted according to the fine Neapolitan marquetry tradition. Each side features a highly detailed inlay work with figurative motifs in various woods.
The lateral panels depict a wild boar hunting scene, while the lid shows a lively countryside scene with human figures and animals, rich in narrative and detail. Equipped with a wrought iron handle and front lock (key missing), this cigar box is now a precious collector’s item, perfect to enrich classic, colonial, or vintage interiors.
