"A Nice Renaissance Style Estoc Sword "
a beautiful Italian Renaissance style rapier sword. Pommel in gilded bronze with cross on the sides riveted by a hammered closing nail. Guard in gilded bronze "S" decorated with trophies of weapons and leaves. Beautiful rapier blade with central thickening. Small mark. Length 98 cm. Type of ceremonial sword probably used for religious or festive ceremonies. Blade 16th century rest 19th century. Excellent condition
