"Pair Of Empire Candlesticks In Gilt Bronze - De Ravrio Model, 19th Century"
Pair of quiver candlesticks with claw feet, the socket in a gadrooned vase. Gilded bronze, 19th century Empire style. Our candlesticks bear inventory numbers written in ink underneath and stamped in the bronze. A quality model, very elegant, they are composed of 9 independent pieces (the more there are, the higher the quality), gilded with fine gold. Beautiful, sober and finely chiseled decoration. This is a close variation of a model created by Ravrio around 1808 and supplied in several copies to the Imperial furniture for the Château de Fontainebleau. They are in very good condition, no lack, no deformation, gilding still very present and quite fresh. Height: 26cm
