Italian Renaissance Style Mahogany Bedroom Set

This exquisite 5-piece bedroom set includes a magnificent king-size bed with an impressive Renaissance-style headboard and footboard, crafted from beautiful walnut wood. The bed has fabulous carved putti cherubs at the headboards. This incredible bedroom set also includes other stunning pieces, a pair of nightstands and armoire, all with intricate, heavily carved details and putti cherub lock covers. The set and comes with four drawers for storage, shelves and x2 hanging rail compartments, making it both practical and unique. This original late 19th century Italian antique set is well maintained and is sure to add a wow factor to any bedroom. The set is heavily carved with swirls and scrolls and 3D putti carvings towards the central ridges. The bed is a Grand King size bed measuring 200cm x 216cm, with an internal dimension of 180cm x 200cm to allow for a EU Super King size mattress. Could also be used as two single beds, this is a common 19th century design for Italian beds. The wardrobe dismantles entirely for transport and measures 285cm high (including putti crest) x 220cm x 68cm. There are internal compartments, one houses shelves and the other two have a hanging rail, there is slight foxing to the central mirror door due to age. The internal depth is 40-49cm. There are 3 storage drawers all finely carved underneath with bronze putti handles and locking lids. The bedside cabinets have a drawer and a cupboard, both have marble tops. The dimensions are 142cm high x 42cm wide x 37cm deep. Condition Report: The bedroom is over a hundred years old and is in good condition for its age, there are marks and small losses.
