Large Two-body Sideboard
Superb Louis XV period sideboard in two parts in solid walnut. Slightly curved on its sides, this piece of furniture comes in two parts (plus a "bread board" between the two parts) topped with a very beautiful gendarme hat cornice. The two doors of the upper part are inlaid with Maltese crosses. The lower part has a superb openwork, scalloped and sculpted crosspiece. Other floral motifs are sculpted in the uprights as well as in the doors. The pins, lock entries, keys are original. This piece of furniture has had some restoration work.
