MAI TRUNG THU -1906-1980-, very beautiful and unusual pair of prints on paper depicting a young girl and a young boy wearing traditional clothing. They were made in the 1970s after the ink and color works on titled silk dating from 1960. The same pair of prints on paper was sold for 400 euros excluding fees by the Millon Study in Paris during an auction dedicated to the arts of Vietnam on October 31, 2022. It is rare to find the girl-boy set.
Unit dimensions: Width 11 cm. Height 19.5 cm (16 cm x 24.5 cm with the frame).
Good condition except for some slight wear on the original frames. The light or dark areas are only reflections on the glass.
