Oil On Canvas Paris Barges By Louis P. Szanto 1900

This beautifully crafted oil on canvas depicts barges, we can think of Paris or Rouen, we have not authenticated the place. No doubt about the period, early 20th century. We see barges, a bridge that is probably identifiable, we are listening to enlightened amateurs. The frame fits this work perfectly, it is in carved gilded wood with floral decoration. The work is sold unrestored, uncleaned, you have to accept the defects due to age. Note some stains in places, small cracks and for the frame, wear, friction, losses and scratches.
