Round and hollow dish in solid silver with gadroon decoration. Engraved with initials on the rim. Hallmark of Master Goldsmith Maurice MAYER and the Minerva. Weight: 547 gr. Maurice Mayer (1801-1864) goldsmith-jeweler to King Louis-Philippe and Napoleon III. He initially worked at 20, rue Basse des Remparts (currently bd de la Madeleine) in Paris.
