Research indicates that Maison Le Rosay was a renowned crystal retailer located on 11 rue de la Paix in Paris (active from 1847 to 1931). It is mentioned that Le Rosay may have supplied glass blanks to companies including Baccarat and Appert Freres. The Victoria & Albert Museum also reportedly owns a vase bearing the Le Rosay mark, which was purchased from them around 1898. This suggests that Le Rosay did not necessarily produce all of its own crystal, but may have distributed it or had it engraved by other companies, including Baccarat.
