Art Deco Bronze Panther, A. Ouline
Sculpture representing a walking panther in bronze with green patina on a black marble base from Belgium. Signature Ouline on the marble. Stamp "Bronze" in hollow, on the body. Period circa 1930 Alexandre Ouline is a sculptor of French nationality active during the period 1918-1940 He is referenced in the illustrated dictionary of animal sculptors by Jean-Charles Hachet. Note, a slight chip on the marble, at a corner (see last photo).
