All the fittings are in shakudo, decorated in taka zogan with gold paulownia flowers on a nanako background.
The kogai are in bronze, decorated with a saddle and accessories on a nanako background, and for the wakisashi, a bronze kozuka decorated with a saddle and accessories on a nanako background, with a signed blade (kogatana) adorned with a chrysanthemum, the imperial flower.
The tsuka are made of wood, covered with ray skin and braided with beige silk.
The menuki are embellished with gold and silver; they are animated by two samurai archers in armor. One of them, hidden behind a stone, wears an eboshi headdress and a tessen war fan. The two warriors are armed with katana swords, quivers of arrows on their backs and yumi bows. Their kabuto helmets lie on the ground at their feet.

The kiri mon is the heraldic sign of the Toku Gawa remps, first adopted by Minamoto Yoshi Iye.
