"Auch, Stew Spoon, Silver, Single-sided, Prugue Family Coat Of Arms, 18th Century"
Silver stew spoon, single-plate model, the spatula engraved with the coat of arms of the Prugue family under a Count's crown, by the master goldsmith Etienne Affre, Auch, first half of the 18th century. Etienne Affre was received as a master goldsmith in Toulouse for Auch on June 8, 1723. The spoon was made between 1723 and the date of his death 1749. Weight 144g - Length 30.6cm. Condition, good, traces of use, very beautiful coat of arms. Auch was first in the jurisdiction of Toulouse then of Bayonne in the last third of the 18th century. Rare jurisdiction.
