A handsome late 18th-century George III period mahogany tripod table with raised molded edge. It features a well-figured single piece of solid mahogany for the tilt-top circular dish top, above a turned baluster-form column. This fine quality Georgian table is raised on well-drawn outswept cabriole legs that terminate in pad feet, retaining a good original color and patination. The tilt-top includes the original catch and dates to circa 1780.
