"Ashtray "human Races" By Heinrich Hoffmann, 1930"
A magnificent "Human Races" ashtray by the famous Czech glassmaker Heinrich Hoffmann, Art Deco period, dating from the 1930s. This ashtray in Bohemian crystal, cut and sculpted, is decorated with faces representing different ethnicities: a Native American, a European, an African and an Asian. Its superb satiny light purple hue varies according to the light, going from almost transparent to deep pink, a typical characteristic of Bohemian glasswork of this period. In perfect condition, it offers a quality of detail and breathtaking artistic glasswork.
