Lovely Louis XVI style carved and gilded wooden footstool. Particularly interesting and unusual model with twisted spinning top feet, a belt with a pearl frieze but especially with its gilded wooden trimmings. Upholstery in good condition, very firm. Only the fabric will need to be changed. The leaf gilding is tired but the charm of the antique object is there! Period late 19th century.
