Important Retour d'Égypte mahogany bergere, finely molded and carved. It stands on zoomorphic front legs and saber-shaped back legs. Molded belts on three sides. The backrest is Etruscan, the armrests with Egyptian heads, treated as “caryatids”.

Condition report: fully restored. Filled-waxed finish as in the period, covered with Prelle silk gourgouran.
