Old oil on wood panel. Very beautiful harbor scene depicting a Basque fisherman in a boat. Work from the beginning of the 20th century, signed by the artist André Louis Maxim Humbert. Panel presented with its original frame (to be restored). 52cm x 59.5cm Panel in very good condition André Humbert was born in Paris on November 27, 1879. He was a student of the famous French painter Léon Bonnat and throughout his career. he exhibited at the Salon des artistes français, winning a third class medal in 1901 and a second class medal in 1904.
