Caucasusian carpet from the 1880s in very good condition from the Gendje family. In the Caucasus, the craft art is very old. In the 17th century, the weavers of this region made "rustic" versions of Persian workshop carpets, but from the end of the 18th century, the Caucasian carpet is characterized by a production specific to each tribe, by their angular and geometric pattern with bright colors.
