Superb Russian Navy Chronometer from the mid-20th century. (Number 03212).
Silver dial, with Arabic numerals, 56 hours of power reserve, seconds at six o'clock, and gilded brass hands.
Magnificent gilded brass movement, well jeweled, with detent escapement, cylindrical balance spring, chain and fusee. Movement similar to the Swiss chronometer (Ulysse Nardin) top of the quality in this field in the 20th century. Mahogany case, with two glass covers, and cardan system, allowing the chronometer to always be in the horizontal position
Double protective case for transport.
