Oil on canvas depicting a popular scene with an operetta singer in the middle of a crowd who have come to listen to her, at her side a guitar or hurdy-gurdy player, most likely a representation of a song by Marc Cab*, from the 20th century. This painting is in good condition. Handwritten signature on the back of the frame (illegible) and inscription "Marc Cab". Please note: slight wear on the canvas and the frame, see photos. * Marcel Cabridens known as "Marc-Cab" is a French lyricist, librettist and adapter, born on December 11, 1901 in Nice (Alpes-Maritimes) and died on October 18, 1978 in Bandol (Var).
