Superb Italian oval mirror surrounded by a frieze of laurel leaves that intersect at the top and bottom of the garland. Very large frame carved on the sides with large shells rolled up and carried by two standing putti, dressed in a drape. They have beautiful chubby faces with curly hair. They stand outside the frame in a spirited movement. The base and top are decorated with leafy motifs and scrolls.
