Animal Bronze Signed Fremiet
Very beautiful bronze representing a goat and its kid signed Emmanuel FREMIET, French sculptor 1824 - 1910. Renowned for his monumental works, he was recognized as an excellent animal sculptor. He has to his credit a very large production of animals of meticulous realism. He is one of the artists most requested by the State for official commissions. He was elected member of the Academy of Fine Arts in 1892. Base 25 x 8.5 cm. Height 17 cm.
