This pair of bookends in the form of turtledoves is made of flamed stoneware from the Rambervillers factory located in the Vosges. The use of metallic oxides in the second firing provides brilliant renderings with iridescent and multi-colored reflections on the stoneware pieces. These bookends are signed "grès de Rambervillers" and are in perfect condition.
