Old Red Railing - Early 20th Century
Solid wood railing elements (probably pine).
The bars were shaped by hand, hence the irregular facets that bring all the charm of the woodwork.
This railing was certainly intended to secure the top of a staircase and a mezzanine topped with the equivalent of a 20 cm step.
Indeed, the whole is made up of 2 parts of different heights of 20 cm.
