Rare Dessert Flatware Set entirely in Vermeil (Gold on Silver) by PUIFORCAT in the "RICHELIEU" pattern. This set comprises 6 Forks, 6 Spoons and 6 Knives, a total of 18 Pieces with the characteristic decoration of the end of the 17th century with its Spearheads (called rat tail) on the back of the spoons and the spatulas cut out and monogrammed with a mavelot. Knives with Vermeil handles (with mavelot as a reminder) as well as vermeil blades. Masterly crafted from the highest quality silver, each piece (spoons, forks, knife handles and blades) is punched with the Minerva 1st Standard Hallmark (.950), the Hallmark of Master Goldsmith Emile PUIFORCAT (Hallmark with the initials "EP" and a penknife) received in 1857. This Silver-Gilt Dessert Set set in the rare Richelieu pattern is in excellent condition with a very beautiful quality of Vermeil, revised and cleaned by our goldsmith, and just micro-scratches from light use to note.
