Afghanistan, Bactrian Style, Antique Glass Bead Necklace And Gilt Bronze Medallion.
Afghanistan, first third of the 20th century and possibly later, very pretty necklace made from antique glass beads probably Phoenician, and therefore necessarily much older, decorated with bird and cross motifs. The pendant, in gilded bronze, has a relief decoration in the style of the Bactrian civilization representing a musician.
Height: approximately 36 cm. The scale indicator on the last photograph is a small model of a lighter from a brand known to all.
Good condition except for a micro dent and mini tear in the metal at the thighs. Almost invisible and seen during the photographic shots by zooming.
